1. What is PreFactur

PreFactur is a 100% free web tool that lets you create professional invoices and quotes directly from your browser and download them as a PDF or Excel file. This policy explains what information is entered when using the tool and how it is handled.

2. What data you can enter

When using PreFactur you may fill in, among others, the following fields:

• Your company details: name, logo, tax ID, address, email and phone.
• Your client's details: name, company, address, email and phone.
• Document information: number, dates, product or service lines, notes and payment terms.

All of these fields are entered voluntarily by you to generate your invoice or quote.

3. How your data is processed

The data you enter into the invoice and quote forms is processed locally in your own browser to calculate totals, show the preview and generate the PDF or Excel file. PreFactur does not send this data to any external server or store it in its own databases: the document is generated using your browser's own functions (print to PDF, Excel generation) and the draft is saved only in your own device's local storage (localStorage), so you don't lose your work if you reload the page.

This means that if you clear your browser's browsing data, that local draft will also be deleted.

4. Future analytics and advertising tools

PreFactur does not currently use any analytics tools or show advertising. In the future, this website may integrate:

• Google Analytics, to understand in aggregate how the website is used and improve the tool.
• Google AdSense, to show ads that help keep the service free.

If these services are activated in the future, this policy will be updated with full details on what data they collect and for what purpose.

5. Cookies

The website may use technical cookies necessary for it to function, and in the future, analytics cookies associated with services such as Google Analytics or Google AdSense. You can find full details in our Cookie Policy.

6. Your rights under the GDPR

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, object to, and request portability of your personal data. Since the data in your invoices and quotes is not stored on our servers, the most direct way to exercise these rights over that information is to delete the draft saved in your own browser.

If personal data were to be collected in the future through tools such as Google Analytics, you will be able to exercise your rights following the procedure indicated at that time, and manage your cookie preferences from your browser settings.

7. Changes to this policy

This privacy policy may be updated to reflect changes to the tool or to applicable regulations. We recommend reviewing it periodically. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page.
