2. What PreFactur currently uses

PreFactur does not currently use tracking or advertising cookies. The tool stores certain information directly in your browser's local storage (localStorage), a technology similar to but distinct from cookies: it is never sent to any server and is only used by your own browser. It is used to:

  • Automatically save the draft of the invoice or quote you are filling in, so you don't lose it if you reload the page.
  • Remember the numbering of your latest documents, to automatically suggest the next number.

3. What might be used in the future

In the future, PreFactur could incorporate third-party cookies associated with the following services, which are currently not active:

  • Google Analytics: analytics cookies to understand, in aggregate, how the website is used in order to improve it.
  • Google AdSense: advertising cookies used by Google and its partners to show ads, which may include personalisation based on your interests.

If any of these services is activated in the future, this policy will be updated with the exact cookies installed, their purpose and duration, and the corresponding consent will be requested where required by law.

4. How to manage cookies from your browser

You can allow, block or delete cookies at any time from your browser settings. Note that blocking certain cookies may affect how some web pages work. Help links for the most common browsers are:

  • Mozilla Firefox: cookie settings under Settings → Privacy and security.
  • Safari: cookie settings under Preferences → Privacy.
